This website

  • The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It loads no fonts, scripts or images from other services.
  • It is hosted by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives your IP address when you visit and logs it for security; see GitHub's privacy statement.
  • Links to GitHub (downloads) and Ko-fi (donations) take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

The Harbor app

  • Harbor has no account, no analytics and no tracking, and sends nothing about you or your games to Built by Argo.
  • It connects to the internet only to download what you ask for (Wine and the renderers from GitHub, launchers from their publishers, Windows components from Microsoft) and, when you open Component Updates, to ask GitHub what is new.
  • Your bottles, games and settings stay on your Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/Harbor. Save backups you make go to ~/Documents/Harbor Backups.
  • Launchers you install, such as Steam, the EA app and Ubisoft Connect, run under their own terms and privacy policies. Harbor never sees or stores your launcher passwords.
  • A diagnostics report is a file you choose to save and send. Harbor shortens paths in your home folder and removes passwords and tokens from it; read it before you send it.
